The East Hampton Historical Society’s Summer Lecture Luncheon has brought together some of the best designers and architects from around the country for a day of fun, friends, and food.
This year’s annual event promises to entice and delight, as EHHS hosts landscape architect Perry Guillot and designer David Netto, both experts on the intersection of design and cultural heritage. The luncheon will take place on Thursday, August 12, at 11 AM at the Maidstone Club.
Perry Guillot, founder of Perry Guillot Inc. Landscape Architecture and noted designer of gardens for Tory Burch, Reed Krakoff, Aerin Lauder and Tina Brown, will discuss some of his most remarkable projects.
David Netto, celebrated author and designer of interiors and furniture, will introduce Guillot and moderate a Q&A session following the talk.
Bonnie Brennan, President of Christie’s Americas, a Platinum Sponsor of the event, will be closing out the program with a few remarks and will invite guests to sit for lunch.
“It is an honor for Christie’s to support an organization dedicated to both the preservation and re-interpretation of East Hampton’s rich history of art, architecture, and horticulture,” said Brennan.
Tickets for the Summer Lecture Luncheon start at $250 per person. For tickets, call the East Hampton Historical Society at 631-324-6850 ext. 1, email info@easthamptonhistory.org, or visit www.easthamptonhistory.org.
