North Fork Foodie Tour celebrates its 20th anniversary on Sunday, September 13, from 10 AM to 4 PM. Since the first North Fork Foodie Tour in 2007, it has become one of the North Fork’s iconic events. It provides visitors a unique opportunity to take a deep dive into one of the defining features of the region’s appealing character: its farms, vineyards, and other local food and beverage producers.
Visitors can chart their own courses for a day exploring the North Fork, choosing among behind-the-scenes tours at 20 locations. Meet the extraordinary people who have dedicated their lives to the art of producing first-class vegetables, wine, mushrooms, goat cheese, flowers, bespoke spirits, herbs, chocolates, and more. Ticket holders will learn about farming, sustainable agriculture, and mariculture, as well as the production methods used to create the area’s best food, wines, beers, spirits, and artisanal products.
New this year are Zafferano Farm and Soul Creations Apothecary & Herb Farm in Mattituck, Peeko Oysters in New Suffolk, and Lenz Winery in Peconic.
