Pro Padel League and Wölffer Estate Vineyard brought ProAm Padel tournaments to the Hamptons over Labor Day Weekend. The event drew a mix of top athletes, celebrities, and media figures, including Allen Lazard of the NY Jets, NASCAR’s Jeff Gordon, ESPN’s Peter Schaefer, film producer Dov Mamann, comedian Hannah Berner, and media executive David Levy. Guests enjoyed premium cabanas, Wölffer Estate wines, and lifestyle brand activations from Adidas, Vacation, Flyfish Club, Tequila 512, and more.
U.S. Mixed Doubles team of Nico Agritelley and Clementina Riobueno defeated Raul Ruiz and Marta Morga with a close score of 8–7. In Women’s PPL x USPA, Marta Barrera from the Houston Volts teamed up with Jordana Lujan to beat Marta Caparros of the same team and Astrid Gehre in a three-set match, 7–5, 5–7, 10–3. On the men’s side, Tolito Aguirre of the Los Angeles Beat and Nico Agritelley secured a win over Alex Chozas of the San Diego Stingrays and Matias Segura, with scores of 6–3, 5–7, 6–3.
The PPL now looks ahead to its season-closing City’s Cup tournament in New York City, October 16 to 19, where the top eight teams will compete in a single-elimination playoff to determine the men’s and women’s champions.
