A variety events were held at Blue&Cream in East Hampton last weekend, in “The Circle.” Ali Weiss Jewelry hosted a piercing party both Saturday and Sunday, July 24 and 25, taking over the Mackey gallery next door.
On Saturday, Russell Simmons came through the Soho Youth Club & Concrete Hills Pop Up at Blue&Cream with his brother Rev Run, who was FaceTiming Diggy Simmons with owner Jeff Goldstein while shopping. Saturday evening DJ Gavin Mitchell and protege photographer Julien Mitchell were at Blue&Cream enjoying Poppi drinks while Rapper Lil Yachty dialed in virtually for a live digital drop for Crete Nail Paint Heatwave which sold out in 17 minutes.
On Sunday, actress Jean Smart was at the boutique buying OVERT, which was also part of Blue&Cream’s trunk show BLOCK PARTY weekend. Gallery N53 showcased new artwork including Warhol and Basquiat, while CLEAN by Meurice hosted a “Free Laundry” exhibit focused on Asian artists where a percentage of all sales were donated to AAPI organizations throughout New York City in an effort to #stopasianhate.
