“Paintings by Friends & Family” is an art show that began as a conversation between John Dios and Paul Misut.
Dios, a retired financial advisor, and Misut, a water scientist, put together the exhibition which also includes two seasoned artists, Anne Siefert, a painter and art historian, and Victoria Louise Russo, a figure painter with deceptively inviting scenes.
Paul’s son, Julian Misut, a high school senior, added his work. Siefert’s broad range of work includes dreamy barns, while the venue of the show, the Water Mill Museum, offers a picturesque fall view of Mill Pond.
The show will be on display September 29 through October 2, daily from 11 AM to 4 PM. A meet the artists reception will be held on Saturday, October 1, from 4 to 7 PM.
