Tote Taxi Offers Expanded Lifestyle Services & One-Stop Shopping For Clients

Tote Taxi, now entering its seventh year of business, is a rapidly growing, bespoke seasonal relocation service. Its primary focus is helping clients move personal items from New York City to the Hamptons and other key markets. Tote Taxi is a one-stop shop for a seamless transition to a new home or a summer rental.

“We take the moving experience to a new level,” said Danielle Candela, founder of Tote Taxi. “Our clients love our Mini Moves service, which transports their valuables, kids stuff, workout equipment, and things they can’t live without, including everything moms need and necessities for remote work. We also work with professional organizers and can stock your fridge with local favorites. What sets us apart is our understanding of the Hamptons lifestyle. We leverage our connections with premier local businesses for our clients’ benefit.”

One of Tote Taxi’s core services is its Tote Camps, which transport kids’ trunks to sleepaway camp from centralized pickup locations in White Plains, Paramus, Bethesda, and Cherry Hill. This means an affordable option, shorter lead time, and more flexibility, with the ability to schedule a “chartered” delivery by grouping their bags together with other parents. Tote is already working with the Walden Camp and is building its camp network. Tote Taxi partners with select brands, like Blade and others, including Saint James Iced Tea and grüns. “We are especially excited for new collaborations with many wellness, fashion, and lifestyle brands,” added Candela.

Additional lifestyle concierge services are also in the works, including a partnership with the popular Red Horse Market, offering curated welcome packages with local favorites and essentials. This was top of mind for Tote Taxi to welcome families traveling long hours with kids with basic staples before their full grocery run. The timing is perfect for this collaboration with a new Red Horse Market location opening this summer in Southampton. “Collaborating with Tote Taxi will ensure that renters and homeowners can kick off their time here with essentials and snacks while they settle in,” said Christian Pineda, General Manager, Red Horse Market. “If they want a weekly delivery subscription, we are here too, and Tote Taxi can work with us to make it happen.”

Moving belongings to a beach property or a new home may require careful planning and logistics. Tote Taxi also partners with Lindsay McLoughlin, founder of Hamptons Organizers, for clients who require additional setup assistance, making packing and unpacking easier for both owners and renters. “We handle the preparation of the house for the season and for everyone involved,” Lindsay said. “Landlords rave about Tote Taxi’s short-term storage service. When we’re done decluttering, your personal and valuable items can be stored safely.”

“We know that so many homeowners need help. It’s essential to have the resources and tools to prepare properly to ensure a vacation-ready home for arriving tenants,” said Drew Green, a real estate broker at Saunders & Associates.
