The Inspired Life: A Two-Day Creative Writers Retreat, hosted by Kristen Oliveri, CEO and Founder of Wealth Reimagined, will be held at The Shoals in Southold, March 6 and 7. This boutique, intimate retreat is designed for writers, founders, creators, and storytellers who want to reconnect with their voice through conversation, beauty, and community. This two-day immersive experience is designed to reconnect you with your voice, deepen your writing practice, and leave you with clarity and momentum.
“This retreat is about creating space; space to think, to write, and to reconnect with your voice. Over two days on the North Fork, we combine meaningful conversation with practical tools so writers leave not just inspired, but with real momentum,” said Oliveri.
Think slow mornings, elegant coastal vibes, great food, curated conversation, pockets of solitude, and intentional networking.

The first day focuses on presence, permission, and possibility. It begins with arrival and check-in from 2 to 3 PM, offering light refreshments and time to settle into your space. An opening circle sets intentions through a grounding writing exercise. Following that, a fireside chat with a guest author discusses the writing process, creative discipline, and storytelling, ending with a brief Q&A. There’s a guided workshop titled “Finding the Thread,” which involves prompt-based writing inspired by the chat to help uncover your core story. Small breakout circles then meet to reflect and discuss. The evening offers an informal “Wine + Words Hour” for conversation and connection, and optionally, a relaxed long-table dinner with prompts woven into the meal.
The second day emphasizes structure, discipline, and sustainable creativity. It begins with breakfast and reflection, followed by a morning writing activation designed to build flow. Later, there’s a practical workshop on moving from inspiration to output, focusing on organization, rhythm, and momentum. Breakout groups explore accountability, then everyone gathers for lunch and open writing. The retreat concludes with a final reflection and personal commitments in a closing circle.
Writers, creatives, thought leaders, entrepreneurs, journalists, and content creators are encouraged to sign up.
