Cocktail Recipe: The Max Alexander At Philippe Chow Fifth Avenue

Philippe Chow Fifth Avenue, the renowned Beijing-style restaurant’s new flagship location, has partnered with Max Alexander to create The Max Alexander, an exclusive signature beverage inspired by his bold couture aesthetic.

At just 10 years old, Max is the Guinness World Record holder for the youngest fashion designer to present a collection at Paris Fashion Week. Known for transforming repurposed materials into luxury couture, he has dressed celebrities including Sharon Stone and Debra Messing, amassed more than 15 million social media followers, and was recently featured in a Tribeca Film Festival documentary on his commitment to upcycled fashion. Echoing Philippe Chow’s theatrical dining and Max’s bold design, the collaboration transforms a signature beverage into a striking work of art.

The Max Alexander features a vibrant pink hue finished with a blue spirulina sea salt rim — the perfect Fashion Week accessory made to pop on camera. The beverage is a zero-proof blend of fresh lime juice, simple syrup, muddled blueberries, blue spirulina sea salt rim, fresh blueberries, and a lime wedge garnish.

The Max Alexander

  • 2 oz Fresh Lime Juice
  • 1 oz agave
  • Muddled Blueberries
  • Water
  • Rim the glass with a blue spirulina sea salt rim
  • Garnish with 3 blueberries on a wooden pick and a lime wedge

Method

Shake fresh lime juice, agave, and muddled blueberries into a delicate soft pink hue, delivering a tangy, fruit-forward profile that packs a vibrant punch. Finish with a blue spirulina sea salt rim and garnish with fresh blueberries and a lime wedge. Serve in a chilled coupe.
