On Saturday, August 29, from 1 to 3 PM, EE Home, the chic homeware shop in the heart of Amagansett, is hosting award-winning fashion designer Peter Som for a special book signing of his cookbook, “Family Style: Elegant Everyday Recipes Inspired by Home and Heritage,” at Across the Street at 145 Main Street in Amagansett.
Released last year, “Family Style” showcases 100 effortless, chic recipes that pay homage to Peter’s identity, with nods to his Chinese American heritage — including dishes inspired by his Grandma’s Cantonese cuisine — as well as his childhood memories of growing up in the Bay Area and his Mom’s love of French food. Guests will have the opportunity to meet Peter, have their copy of “Family Style” signed, and enjoy complimentary Chandon spritzes throughout the afternoon.
