Cocktail Recipe: L’Avenue At Saks’ Spiked Hot Chocolate

Le Chalet at LAvenue at Saks in Midtown shares its recipe for a rich hot chocolate spiked with Frangelico and sherry. The cocktail is served in the chic L’Avenue’s Alpine-inspired setting with a roaring fireplace and Philippe Starck’s design to keep you warm.

L’Avenue at Saks’ Spiked Hot Chocolate

Cocktail Ingredients

.75 oz PX sherry

1.5 oz Frangelico

5 oz creme de cacao

2 oz hot chocolate

Hot Chocolate

400 gr of 66% Caraibe chocolate (Valrhona)

1000 gr of milk

250 gr heavy cream

3.5 gr salt

Method: Boil the hot chocolate ingredients together to create a large batch. Combine all cocktail ingredients, then top with hot chocolate.
