Fósforo Mezcal Fósforo produces artesanal mezcal from the Tobalá agave in the heart of Puebla, Mexico. Female founded and led on both sides of the border by Lisa Detwiler and Mariana Hernández, Fósfofo quickly became the most awarded Tobalá mezcal brand in the market. With distillation led by fourth-generation master-mezcalero Aarón Alva Sánchez, we currently offer three artfully crafted mezcal expressions: Ensamble, Tobalá Joven, and our Tobalá Penca.
