India Hicks & Nina Lesavoy Host An Evening To Support Global Empowerment Mission

On August 3, India Hicks and Nina Lesavoy celebrated the work of the Global Empowerment Mission. Guests gathered at the home of GEM Board Member Nina Lesavoy in Sag Harbor, where they enjoyed sunset cocktails and hors d’oeuvres. Once the program started, India Hicks, GEM Board Member, gave remarks recounting her most recent trip to the frontlines of Ukraine with her two sons to deliver aid.

GEM Founder and President, Michael Capponi, followed India’s remarks and shared additional details about their crucial work. The evening ended with a paddle raise by Letitia Frye, with over $200,000 raised thus far, with donations still coming in.

TWP Clothing donated 15 percent of total sales from their Southampton and Sag Harbor boutiques on Saturday, August 2, and Sunday, August 3, to GEM. In addition, TWP Clothing has pledged to match the amount raised, doubling their support for GEM’s mission.

Global Empowerment Mission is a non-profit organization, headquartered in Doral, Florida, with branches around the world. They work to alleviate struggle after disasters, whether that be the recent Texas Floods, the LA fires, or war zones like Ukraine.
