Meet La Vie Style House Founders Jamie Coulter & Lindsey McClain

La Vie Style House founders Jamie Coulter and Lindsey McClain both come from backgrounds in the fashion industry, and met in a Dallas pilates class back in 2013. The two became instant friends and bonded over their mutual interest in vintage clothing.

Jamie had a caftan that Lindsey loved and would borrow on occasion, so from there, Jamie and Lindsey were inspired to create their own unique and inclusive brand. Their partnership in the fashion business is primarily based on their friendship and dedication to their craft.

Both Jamie and Lindsey have always had a strong affinity for cool and effortless pieces. So much so, that they sought to create a lifestyle brand that provided those desired qualities to women and their closets everywhere. Today, the brand’s one-size model explores caftans, wraps, slips, and more, and can be worn from day-to-night in a number of colorways and styles.

La Vie’s leading ladies have opened a 600-square-foot store in Southampton at 42 Jobs Lane, joining its other two stores in Dallas’ Highland Park Village and Palm Beach, Florida, with more to come later this year. In addition to its one-size-fits-all caftans and wraps, La Vie Style House’s Southampton location features shirts, foundations, accessories, coatdresses, and shirtdresses. In addition to resortwear, the brand also offers styles suitable for seasonal events, seamlessly transitioning from day-to-night.

The shop also features works by artist Donal Robertson who is is largely influenced by color, fashion, celebrity, and humor.
