The South Fork Natural History Museum (SOFO) presents its 36th Annual Summer Gala Benefit, Champions of the Wild: A New Generation, at the museum in Bridgehampton on Saturday, July 12, to benefit SOFO’s educational and environmental programs and initiatives, empowering families to be responsible stewards of our planet.
This year, Liev Schreiber will serve as the Honorary Chair. Hosts for the evening will include Erica Noble and Ray Iwanowski, Kim and Greg Lippmann, and Susan and David Rockefeller, with special guest, philanthropist Jean Shafiroff.
Honorees for the evening will include SOFO Board Trustee and committed supporters of the museum, Ray Iwanowski and Erica Noble, Joshua Fox, Director of the Brady Hunter Foundation headquartered in Miami, Florida, and Jeff Corwin of the “Extraordinary World with Jeff Corwin,” which airs on CBS in New York.
The VIP cocktail reception will be held from 5:30 to 7 PM with tastings from East End restaurants including Bell & Anchor, The Beacon, East Hampton Grill, Farm & Forage, Hampton Coffee, LUNCH, Page at 234 Main, Saaz, Shellworks, Southampton Social Club, The Golden Pear, and Union Burger.
The honoree presentation, seated dinner, auction, and dancing take place from 7 to 10 PM. The event will be catered by Rhubarb Hospitality Collection, with flowers by Mark Masone Designs. Beverages for the evening will be provided by Amagansett Wines & Spirits, Channing Daughters Winery, Michael Cinque, and J.A. Baczewski Monopolowa Gin & Vodka.
