Willoughby, a new Southold salon in the Vine + Sand hotel has recently opened, presenting its inaugural art show.
The space has been carefully remodeled and reconfigured, using FHS Interior Design Studio. Ceilings and floors are adorned with 200-year-old wood and art hangs throughout its bedrooms, hallways, library, and the front great room.
Featured artists in the show, which runs through June 30, include Agathe Snow, Peter Dayton, Suzannah Wainhouse, William Rand, Rene Ricard, Randy Polumbo, Blair Seagram, Basquiat, Christa Maiwald, Joe Gaffney, Vito Acconci, and Julian Schnabel.
Pamela Willoughby is a curator and art advisor with 20 years experience supporting the needs of her clients’ collections and visions. Willoughby is her new salon, with partner, Johnny Pierce, the proprietor of Vine + Sand.
The goal is focusing on established artists, from the ‘80s as well as emerging, that have caught her eye.
