On Friday evening, designer Donna Karan and actor Alec Baldwin welcomed guests to Donna’s East Hampton waterfront home for an intimate charity dinner benefitting Wings Over Haiti, the Sag Harbor–based nonprofit that provides education and nourishment to children in Haiti.

The evening began with cocktails in the garden, followed by an outdoor dinner prepared by Donna’s personal chef, and concluded with dessert and live entertainment poolside. Attendees included supporters from the arts, philanthropy, and business communities who joined together to raise essential funds for the Wings Over Haiti School.

Founded by Sag Harbor artist Jonathan Glynn after the devastating 2010 earthquake, Wings Over Haiti has grown from a single idea into a thriving school now serving 126 students. With 12 classrooms nearing completion, the school provides both daily meals and education for Haitian children.

“This evening reflects the generosity of a community committed to making a real difference,” said Glynn. “The children of Haiti deserve hope and opportunity, and Wings Over Haiti is proud to provide that foundation.”

Donna Karan added, “Education changes lives. Supporting Wings Over Haiti ensures that children have the resources they need to learn, grow, and thrive.”
