Ashley McGee Yoga + CoreysWave held a yoga session for surfers, with a focus on finding control, grace, and ease in the breathe, at Montauk Beach House on Thursday, September 23.

“Ashley is great. She taught a class geared for surfers which targeted all the right areas of the body. Highly recommend!” said Scott Becker, who attended the class.

During the class there were live transcending sounds by Gian Carlo Feleppa (sitar, autoharp, synthesizers), Dalton Portella (guitar synth, percussion), James Ryan (rhythm machine, nature), and Everest Bond (handpan, percussion).

“She guided her whole class with clear verbal instruction, well balanced between explaining/guiding the poses and calling out traditional Sanskrit names and English translations. I felt super comfortable in her class,” said Walt Lindveld.

“I’m creating a unique sequence and experience for the surfing community on the East End where surfers can feel comfortable practicing Yoga together,” said McGee.

“Excellent class! Ashley is very skilled and understood my limitations. I highly recommend,” said Scott Sisun of the class.

The Yoga session was complimentary for the surfing community on the East End. Following the Yoga session at MBH, there was a celebrations over food and drinks.
