Douglas Elliman, one of the nation’s largest residential real estate brokerages, recently announced the winners of its 2024 Ellie Awards recognizing the firm’s highest achievers across the country for 2023. Several top agents and teams from the firm’s Hamptons and North Fork offices were among those honored.
“In the face of financial and market headwinds, Douglas Elliman agents persevered and prevailed with characteristic resolve, ingenuity, and professionalism,” said Howard M. Lorber, the company’s executive chairman. Scott Durkin, president and chief executive officer, added that the award winners “are the ones who trust in their experience and draw on their resourcefulness to thrive in any market.”
The brokerage held the top position in the Hamptons region overall in 2023, according to the annual rankings by The Real Deal. It also led in units sold on the North Fork and across Long Island.
Among its standout transactions, the firm represented both sides of two of the 10 priciest Hamptons home sales last year. Kyle Rosko and Marcy Braun of the Eklund | Gomes Team represented sellers of a $35 million waterfront estate. Erica Grossman brought the buyer to a $33.5 million sale.
In the award categories based on gross commission income (GCI), top individual honors in the Hamptons went to Michaela Keszler, followed by Erica Grossman and Martha Gundersen. The Atlantic Team took home the GCI award for top team.
For sales volume, Michaela Keszler again led individuals, with Martha Gundersen and Erica Grossman next. The Enzo Morabito Team earned the top team prize.
Kristy Naddell ranked No. 1 for the highest number of transactions by an individual agent in the Hamptons. The Atlantic Team captured the team transaction award.
For rental performance based on GCI, Michaela Keszler, Erica Grossman, and Dawn Neway claimed the top three individual agent spots, while the Atlantic Team led rental teams. Looking at transactions, Dawn Neway took the individual rental agent crown, and the Atlantic Team again finished first among teams.
The Rookie of the Year award for the Hamptons and North Fork regions went to Cleo Ahn of the Bridgehampton office. Recognized for earning over $1 million in 2023 were several top Pinnacle Club honorees, including the Atlantic, Enzo Morabito, and Tunick teams, as well as individual agents Erica Grossman and Michaela Keszler.
Nationwide, Michaela Keszler ranked No. 12 among individuals by GCI and No. 13 by volume. For teams, the Eklund | Gomes Team topped the mega team category for GCI and volume, while the Michael Lorber and Steven Cohen teams placed highly in the large and medium divisions across both rankings.
“Congratulations to our Hamptons and North Fork agents on a truly outstanding year,” said Todd Bourgard, CEO of Douglas Elliman’s Long Island, Hamptons, and North Fork regions. “In a year of many challenges, our team showed notable resilience, growing, expanding, thriving and garnering new successes.”
