The “trick” was to sign up for last Friday evening’s tour of The South End Burying Grounds on James Lane. The “treat” was a three part experience presented by the East Hampton Historical Society. There was a self-guided tour of the Home Sweet Home Museum before the cemetery visit, and a visit to The Baker House 1650 for cider and cake after. The hosts were EHHS Chief Curator Richard Barons and East Hampton Town Crier and Historian Hugh King. Doughnuts and hot cider were courtesy of Grindstone Coffee & Doughnuts of Sag Harbor.
