The Pridwin Hotel & Cottages Presents The First Annual Shelter Island Seafood Fête

The Pridwin Hotel & Cottages on Shelter Island is bidding farewell to summer with the launch of the first annual Shelter Island Seafood Fête, taking place Labor Day Weekend, September 4 to 7.

Set against the waterfront on Crescent Beach, the weekend celebrates everything that makes an East End summer unforgettable – from freshly shucked local oysters and chilled Champagne at golden hour to a family-style seafood feast highlighting the region’s freshest catch.

The weekend’s signature experiences include a Toast to Summer: Champagne & Oysters on the Bay on Saturday. Guests will gather on the waterfront for Champagne, freshly shucked East End oysters, an abundant raw bar, seasonal seafood, live music, and sunset views as boats return to the harbor.

On Sunday, it’s the first annual Shelter Island Seafood Fête. Executive Chef Todd Ruiz presents a seafood-forward take on The Pridwin’s beloved Wednesday Night BBQ, featuring just-shucked oysters, grilled lobster, seasonal fish, coastal classics, generous family-style sides, live music, and waterfront dining.

Guests can also book an overnight VIP package to enjoy the full Labor Day Weekend experience.
