Antonella is not only a valued member of our community but is also the partner for the APEX Hamptons Wealth and Legacy Forum this August, hosting us at Baker House 1650 in East Hampton. She is an entrepreneur, developer, investor, and philanthropist, which makes her a fairly complete illustration of what these pages are about. When we went looking for the right home for this year’s forum, it was not a long search. We feel right at home at the Baker House 1650 thanks to Antonella and her team’s warm hospitality.

Antonella Bertello is the proprietor of The Baker House 1650 (bakerhouse1650.com), the preeminent B&B/Boutique hotel in East Hampton, and a real estate entrepreneur. She is also a licensed real estate agent with the Corcoran Group and a member of Corcoran’s Multi-Million Dollar Club and of the President’s Council working in the New York City, Hamptons, and soon, Miami markets. She has more than 40 years of real estate experience and has supervised the design, construction, and interior design of award-winning projects in East Hampton, New York, South Florida, and Latin America. Born in Lima, Peru, she earned a degree in Economics, Management and Finance from Babson College, and is fluent in English and Spanish, and conversational in French and Italian.

Her latest family project is the development of “Marina Coast Peru” – a new and unique residential and recreational boating paradise that will be the first world-class superyacht marina and residential development on the South Pacific Coast. Marina Coast Peru is located in Northern Peru, very close to the Equator with ideal weather year-round, and will feature luxury accommodations, an inland marina for superyachts up to 383ft with over 300 slips, a yacht club, a retail “Marina Village,” and much more. The airport onsite is already in operation and will facilitate eco-tourism excursions to the Galapagos Islands, Machu Picchu, the Peruvian Amazon River, and other Peruvian and Latin American wonders. The resort is scheduled to open in Q1 2027.

A natural philanthropist, Antonella regularly sponsors and hosts fundraising events at The Baker House 1650, supporting the community, Peru, cancer research, the arts with The Hamptons International Film Festival, and Guild Hall in East Hampton, and local artists, as well as animal care and rights with the Animal Rescue Fund of the Hamptons, the Southampton Animal Shelter Foundation, and others. Antonella is also the Ambassador for Mission Huascaran in the Hamptons, a Peruvian non-for-profit organization focused on transforming rural communities in Peru through their program Knitting Hope. She is also a board member of the East Hampton Village Foundation and The Greater East Hampton Chamber of Commerce. She is also passionate about cars and Formula 1 Racing, and collaborates with many car dealerships and brands, such as Aston Martin, McLaren, Ferrari, Bentley, Polestar, Lucid, and Ineos to bring their magic to the Hamptons. These events are usually paired with other luxury fashion brands such as Burberry, Jimmy Choo, Brunello Cucinelli, Christian Louboutin, Chanel, and Ralph Lauren, among others.
