The Southampton Arts Center presents an immersive viewing experience focusing on the works of TECHSPRESSIONISM artists Frank Gillete and John Zieman, followed by a discussion with the artists on Friday, May 13, at 6 PM.
According to SAC, “Frank Gillette is an American artist. He is a pioneer of multiple channel and time-delay installations – work which often integrates the audience. His early work pays a parallel concern with visual observation, closely related to a scientific interest with an ecological passion for the natural world. John Zieman is a video artist living in New York since 1980. His single-channel and multi-channel installation video works have been shown in galleries and art fairs internationally. We will focus on the artist’s exhibited work with an intimate viewing experience in our theatre followed by a discussion with the artists.”
