i-tri, the non-profit organization dedicated to empowering middle-school girls, presents its 7th annual Ride & Wine event, set to take place on Saturday, October 5. This signature event promises an exhilarating experience while raising funds to support the organization’s life-changing programs. This year’s Ride & Wine event features two new bike routes and a lunch and wine tasting. Cyclists will have the choice of embarking on a 34-mile ride to and from the Montauk Lighthouse, offering awe-inspiring vistas, or opting for a shorter, 13-mile route through Amagansett to Gardiners Bay and back. Upon completing the invigorating rides, participants will be treated to a catered lunch by Damarks Market and a self-guided wine tasting at Scoville Hall in Amagansett.
“We are exhilarated to kick off our 16th year with our Ride & Wine event,” expressed Theresa Roden, i-tri’s visionary chief officer. “This year’s event will unveil brand-new routes and a new setting for lunch and wine tasting. Whether you join us for the ride or opt for the delightful lunch and wine portion, your participation will help us provide our 2025 participants with the training, equipment, and support they need to reach the finish line and soar beyond.”
This event is open to non-cyclists who would love to join for lunch, wine, and conversations after the ride. In addition to the cycling and wine-tasting activities, the Ride & Wine event serves as the launchpad for i-tri’s most important fundraising campaign, Giving Day, which is scheduled for Thursday, October 24. With generous contributions and dedicated support, i-tri aims to continue its mission of nurturing confidence, resilience, and empowerment in young girls, guiding them toward unlocking their boundless potential.
