The Southampton Arts Center hosted its annual Whimsy in the Garden cocktail party on Saturday, June 24. A charming garden filled with hydrangeas, peonies and roses was created by Tish Rehill of Gardeneering, Topiare, and Eastland Farms. The flowers were a perfect backdrop to Harry Benson’s “A Moment in Time” exhibition.

Guests were serenaded with swing jazz by the Steve Salerno Trio as they enjoyed savory delights from Robbins Wolfe Eventeurs and sparkling cocktails from Canoe Place Inn.  Christina Strassfield thanked the crowd for their support in raising funds for year round programming at Southampton Arts Center.

Elyn Kronemeyer, chair of the event, was supported by a committee including Nancy Kane, Sylvia Hemingway, Monique Savarese, Tish Rehill, Roberta Amon, Ellie Manko Libby, Nicole Salmasi, Kara Ross, J Whitney Stevens, Paula Viscogliosi, Aima Raza, Heather Borstein, Fairley Pilaro, and Jennifer Arcure.
