After more than two decades with a single New York City practice, Bella Zakarian Mancini opens an outpost of her eponymous firm to widen its offerings and better service her existing East End clients.
Bella Mancini Design is an interior design firm that opened their Hamptons branch on April 3 located in the multi-use “Sag Harbor Studios” on the corner of Division and Henry Streets.
“We’ve had a consistent flow of projects in the Hamptons over the past twenty years and it finally feels like the right time to plant some design roots where my family and I now live,” said Mancini. “Sag Harbor Studios is a mixed-use building that houses an architect, landscape design firm, and a fine artist. Taking a second studio space locally alongside other creatives feels like a natural progression of the business. The Sag Harbor community has been so welcoming, and I am excited to be able to offer our services to more people here and in neighboring towns.”
Bella Mancini Design’s Sag Harbor office opening coincides with the firm’s revamp and launch of the company’s logo and website, done in collaboration with Smash and Co., a Michigan based branding agency. “We have taken a great deal of time to explore our company ethos and we have thoughtfully woven the spirit of where we come from, what we believe in, and what we do into our new identity and brand experience. The new logo prominently features a poppy, which signifies beauty, magic and imagination, not to mention the state of California, all things we cherish here at BMD.”
Established in 2000, Bella Mancini Design is an interior design studio with the belief that the design process should be rewarding, meaningful, and fun for both studio and client alike. BMD takes pride in approaching each project with fresh eyes, never repeating their work but always including rich textural stories, sophisticated colors, vintage pieces, and special bespoke goods to create their signature “laid back luxe” style they have become known for.
