DIY Banquet II will be held Sunday, April 27, from 1 to 3 PM at the Southampton Cultural Center. The event coincides with the exhibit “Personal Infra-Structure II.”
The concept for “Personal Infra-Structure” is to create rite of spring exhibitions that bring people together through contemporary and participatory art, slowly building an ongoing community while continuing to bring new artists and institutions into the mix.

This year’s artists are Jeannine Bardo, Anna Lise Jensen, and Paul Krause. Brenda Simmons, founder and CEO of SAAM (Southampton African American Museum), will display text and images about the museum’s creation.
For the DIY Banquet, visitors are invited to share a story, object, or performance. Each presentation is limited to 3 minutes. Guests are also asked to bring their own food and drink, and mingling is encouraged once presentations are over.
