East End Special Players will host Create Fair, an outdoor festival to highlight the creative work of the Explorers Program, and offer a sneak peek of the 2022 East End Special Players production, “Turtles On the Tarmac.”
The Explorers program, launched by East End Special Players in 2014, offers weekly cooking classes, art making, field trips, and other creative learning projects. East End Special Players is a group of adults with diverse abilities and special health needs who meet weekly to develop their creative skills.
Create Fair will provide an opportunity for the general public to experience the creative output of the Explorers and Players. It will be held at the Southampton Art Center from 2 to 3:30 PM on Saturday, September 24. The event will feature photography, drumming, painting, performance, the culinary arts, mural drawing, and more.
