The Road Forward Scholarship Fund's mission is to fulfill the dream of higher education for local, economically disadvantaged East End high school seniors who have been accepted into college or trade school. The recipients are young students who otherwise cannot afford to attend college and who have often suffered extreme hardship in a variety of circumstances, such as abandonment or loss of parents.

We awarded six 4 year scholarships in 2023 and have a mentorship program to support these deserving kids.

Please join us on June 15th or consider sending a donation amount will be appreciated!

Ty Wenzel started her career as a fashion coordinator for Bloomingdale’s followed by fashion editor for Cosmopolitan Magazine. She was also a writer for countless publications, including having published a memoir and written features for The New York Times.
