Enjoy an elegant evening of drinks, music, and snacks at the wonderful Southampton Inn. Come meet the staff and supporters of Maureen’s Haven and help us celebrate the memory of our beloved Board Chair, Russell Blue, before hitting the Hamptons Scene. Enjoy platters of a Tuscan table with assorted Cheese, Meat, Crackers, Fruit, Vegetables, jams, chips and dips. Assorted apps will be served, such as spanakopita, bruschetta, mini meatballs, as well as iced tea, soda, wine, and our signature drink (TBD depending on season).
Since 2002, Maureen's Haven has provided critical support services to the homeless on the East End. We offer a broad range of homeless support services, including case management, access to our social worker, referrals to treatment programs, housing assistance, and many other critical services. We also operate the Emergency Winter Shelter Program in partnership with volunteers and Houses of Worship throughout the East End, which provides lifesaving shelter to at least 35 individuals during the cold winter months.

Ty Wenzel

Ty Wenzel, a recent breast cancer survivor, started her career as a fashion coordinator for Bloomingdale’s followed by fashion editor for Cosmopolitan Magazine. She was also a writer for countless publications, including having published a memoir (St. Martin's Press) and written features for The New York Times. She is an award-winning writer and designer who covers lifestyle, real estate, architecture and interiors for James Lane Post. She previously worked as a writer and marketing director for The Independent. She has won multiple PCLI and NYPA awards for journalism, social media and design, including best website design and best magazine for James Lane Post, which she co-founded in 2020. Wenzel is also a co-founder of the meditation app for kids, DreamyKid, and the Hamptons social media agency, TWM Hamptons Social Media.
