Playwrights’ Theatre Of East Hampton At LTV Studios In Association With Where Are They Going Theater Company

LTV Studios 75 Industrial Road, Wainscott, NY, USA
Organized by LTV Studios

LTV Studios and Playwrights’ Theatre of East Hampton series, founded in 1992 by Mitzi and Perry Pazer and now revived with their blessings by producer Josh Gladstone, in association with Where Are They Going Theater Company will host a full production of “(O)n the 5:31” on Thursday, April 4 at 7:30 p.m., Friday, April 5 at 7:30 p.m. and on Saturday, April 6 at 7:30 p.m. Written by Mando Alvarado, directed by David Zayas Jr. and produced by Sawyer Spielberg and Josh Gladstone, “(O)n the 5:31” travels back and forth across the ten-year span of two intertwined relationships. As he struggles to complete his wife’s dying wishes, a grieving Benny tries to piece the fragments of their life together from memory. In the end, he’ll come to understand that he wasn’t the only one who lost the love of their life. An examination on the twists and turns of life and the space between what really happened and how we want to remember it.

“This is the New York World Premiere of a brand new play that will take you on a journey into a lustful world whose power draws specifically from memory. You will ask yourself what is the truth and what do we create in our imagination. This will be a story told to you by some of New York City’s best talent.” – Sawyer Spielberg, Producer
