Tea Talk Tuesday At FoodLab
FoodLab at Stony Brook University
Join us for a thoughtful conversation on the many ways food nourishes our lives beyond the plate. Author, chef, artist, and yoga teacher Kate Rabinowitz will explore food as a source of connection, culture, community, and healing.
Drawing on five decades of experience in holistic wellness practices, including gourmet, macrobiotic, and Ayurvedic cooking, Kate brings a unique perspective on the role food plays in shaping our relationships with ourselves, one another, and the world around us. She will discuss the transformative power of preparing and sharing meals, eating with intention, sourcing food consciously, and understanding food as nourishment for both body and soul.
Whether gathered around a crowded table or cooking quietly at home, food has the power to connect us. This Tea Talk invites us to consider what it truly means to nourish ourselves, our communities, and the systems that sustain us.
