The Greater East Hampton Chamber of Commerce Spreads the Love in East Hampton on February 10th

East Hampton, New York

The Greater East Hampton Chamber of Commerce is excited to announce a weekend shopping event “Spread the Love” in East Hampton Village. On Saturday, February 10th businesses throughout East Hampton Village will offer special promotions and events welcoming visitors. From discount shopping and special complimentary giveaways to delicious winter treats and exclusive items, Spread the Love welcomes everyone to visit participating businesses throughout the day. Parking restrictions will be lifted for the day so visitors can enjoy a full day exploring all of the businesses. “We are excited to kick off 2024 with a new event driving people to East Hampton Village in the wintertime. Many businesses are on board to offer lots of exciting promotions welcoming everyone to stop in. Our goal with the new Greater East Hampton Chamber is to promote our local businesses and drive business year-round and what a great way by spreading the love this winter,” shares Greater East Hampton Chamber of Commerce Executive Director Mary Waserstein.

Ty Wenzel, a recent breast cancer survivor, started her career as a fashion coordinator for Bloomingdale’s followed by fashion editor for Cosmopolitan Magazine. She was also a writer for countless publications, including having published a memoir (St. Martin's Press) and written features for The New York Times. She is an award-winning writer and designer who covers lifestyle, real estate, architecture and interiors for James Lane Post. She previously worked as a writer and marketing director for The Independent. She has won multiple PCLI and NYPA awards for journalism, social media and design, including best website design and best magazine for James Lane Post, which she co-founded in 2020. Wenzel is also a co-founder of the meditation app for kids, DreamyKid, and the Hamptons social media agency, TWM Hamptons Social Media.
