On Friday, September 4, Brisas and The Dunmore — a resort on Harbour Island in the Bahamas founded by Gil Besing and Lucy Cuneo — hosted an afternoon of padel and wellness to celebrate their upcoming Fall partnership at Brisas’ East Hampton club. Guests gathered for a relaxed afternoon designed around movement and recovery in equal measure, set against the club’s signature blend of Hamptons ease and Mexican-inspired design.

The club was reimagined for the occasion, with two courts for group padel lessons designed to foster connection between players and improve their game. A third court was reserved for mat pilates on one side and a healing tent featuring a tarot card reader on the other. Padel and Pilates ran on 30-minute rotations, giving every guest an easy, low-commitment taste of each activity throughout the event. Between sessions, cold plunge and sauna stations offered a moment to recover, while food and beverage were displayed for guests to enjoy at their own pace.

The Dunmore brought its signature brand of relaxed, design-forward hospitality to the partnership. Brisas, the East Hampton padel club inspired by Acapulco’s padel heritage, brought its own reputation as a soulful gathering space for sport, art, and community. Together, the two brands collaborated for a first taste of what’s to come this Fall.

This December, The Dunmore’s Harbour Island property will unveil newly redesigned padel courts in a classic beach club setting, crafted with Brisas’ premium equipment and court design, giving guests a chance to find that same experience waiting for them on the island.
