NORTH FORK & HAMPTONS EVENT CALENDAR

Interdisciplinary artist and performer Olga Tomkowiak joins us at The Church for a performance of Visual Poetry. Accompanied by words written by Frederic Tuten, Tomkowiak will show a selection of short visual poems that incorporate body, object, space, and sound. By exploring the connection between them, Tomkowiak creates worlds and scenarios in which the ordinary becomes odd and the distinction between subject, object, and space begins to blur. Tomkowiak describes her practice as a mixture of theatre, dance, poetry, and fun.
