Wellness Monday: Balancing Our Energy Centers With Lauren Aiyana

Join the circle and align your intentions with your energy centers with spiritual mentor, energy healer, and life coach Lauren Aiyana in our July Wellness Monday. With over 18 years of holistic healing experience, Lauren comes to The Church with a wealth of knowledge and practiced skills, helping participants become agents of their own wellness. Attendees will begin with a meditation exercise, learn about the chakras and how to balance them, work with their intentions, develop the tools needed for a daily practice, and share their reflections.

Please bring a yoga mat, cushion, or something comfortable to sit on. You will be seated on the concrete floor of the studio level of The Church. Chairs will be provided for those who need them.

 

Chakras, a Sanskrit word meaning “wheel,” are said to be spinning energy centers within the body and are mentioned in several ancient Hindi texts, including the Vedas and Upanishads. Though invisible, the chakras are a system that create part of our subtle body, and working with them can help clear energetic blockages and create inner clarity.

She is an award-winning writer and designer who covers lifestyle, real estate, architecture and interiors for James Lane Post. She previously worked as a writer and marketing director for The Independent. She has won multiple PCLI and NYPA awards for journalism, social media and design, including best website design and best magazine for James Lane Post, which she co-founded in 2020. Wenzel is also the founder of the Hamptons social media agency, TWM Luxury Solutions.
