Whalemobile: A Life-sized Inflatable Whale Experience

Meet us at the Unitarian Universalist Meetinghouse at 977 Bridgehampton-Sag Harbor Turnpike (just a 5-minute drive from the museum) to see a life-sized inflatable whale!

Certain to be an adventure to spark curiosity and inspire ocean stewardship. Children and families can step inside the whale to explore its anatomy, learn about conservation, and discover how whales—and the ocean—are connected to our daily lives, no matter where we live. Enter the whale, explore real whale artifacts, and learn how these amazing animals live and are studied in the wild. It’s educational, interactive, and a guaranteed crowd-pleaser!

Registration is required for this event, as space is limited. Program is intended for children ages five (5) years old and older.

30-minute sessions: 3:00, 3:30, 4:00, 4:30. Each ticket valid for one session. 20 participants per session.

Ty Wenzel, a recent breast cancer survivor, started her career as a fashion coordinator for Bloomingdale’s followed by fashion editor for Cosmopolitan Magazine. She was also a writer for countless publications, including having published a memoir (St. Martin's Press) and written features for The New York Times. She is an award-winning writer and designer who covers lifestyle, real estate, architecture and interiors for James Lane Post. She previously worked as a writer and marketing director for The Independent. She has won multiple PCLI and NYPA awards for journalism, social media and design, including best website design and best magazine for James Lane Post, which she co-founded in 2020. Wenzel is also the founder of the Hamptons social media agency, TWM Luxury Solutions.
