Joey Wölffer & Molly Fienning Celebrate Rosé Season With An Intimate Dinner & Wine Tasting

Joey Wölffer, the chief brand officer and co-owner of Wölffer Estate Vineyard, and Molly Fienning, the chief executive officer and co-founder of Red Clay Hot Sauce, hosted an intimate dinner at Fienning’s private residence in Charleston, South Carolina on Wednesday, March 15, to celebrate Wölffer’s newest vintages, and the start of rosé season. Attendees included local women from the worlds of entertainment, fashion, art, beauty, and hospitality.

The event began with guests entering the private outdoor garden, where they enjoyed summer-inspired passed hors d’oeuvres and tasted a few of Wölffer’s most iconic rosés including Summer In A Bottle Long Island, Summer In A Bottle Côtes de Provence, and the Argentine Finca Rosé. Guests also sipped Wölffer‘s sparkling wines, Noblesse Oblige and Spring in a Bottle, a non-alcoholic and low calorie dry sparkling Rosé, which were paired together in a playful blind tasting.

As the sun set, guests made their way inside for an intimate, seated dinner. The table setting was inspired by Wolffer’s iconic “Summer In A Bottle” rosé bottle design, and featured lush floral in shades of pink, illuminated by candle light. A three course meal featuring local, seasonal dishes was paired with Wölffer wines and ciders including Perle Chardonnay. The evening concluded with a toast by Joey Wölffer, who thanked guests for joining to warmly welcome the start of rosé season in Charleston.
