“Working with intangible ideas around contemporary issues has been my motivating force,” artist Nanette Carter said of her work.
The Church in Sag harbor welcomes Carter as its featured artist for our March Insight Sunday, on March 26 at 10:30 AM, in conjunction with the Spring exhibition, Return to a Place By the Sea. Four of Carter’s works, dating from 1998 to 2021, are included in the exhibition which is on view through May 27.
Guests will hear her insights behind the works included, as well as the methodology of her other works, which have been exhibited globally and is a contemporary response to issues around war, injustices, and technology.
Tickets are free for members and $10 for non members.
