Certified Yoga Instructor and Healing Arts Experience Creator Ashley McGee will host LUNAFAIR, a full moon journey consisting of an outdoor yoga practice, live music, art, film, lunar rituals, and a fire ceremony.
The evening will kick off with an energy clearing upon entering the event space, where the work of artist Scott Bluedorn will be on display. Guests can then participate in an open-level yoga class with Ashley McGee accompanied by transcendent sounds by Dalton Portella, James Ryan, and Gian Carlo Feleppa. After the class, there will be a fire ceremony and sound healing with Diane Ferraro and Raymond Storms followed by a screening of the short film “Le Voyage Dans La Lune,” directed by Geo Méliès, with the original score performed live by Portelle, Ryan, and Feleppa. The evening will conclude with tarot card readings by Ferraro and crystal charging by Storms.
There will also be a Nā lei pop up at the event. Nā lei is an ecofriendly, non-binary brand that supports artists, selling handmade, imported boho clothing and jewelry born out of Kaui.
LUNAFAIR will take place at the Hero Beach Club in Montauk on Thursday, August 11, from 6:30 to 8:30 PM.
