The Southampton Arts Center will screen “On the Water + The Field” on Saturday, November 19, at 6 PM.
This news magazine show produced by Cornell Cooperative Extension (CCE) Marine Program seeks to educate the public on current projects, issues, and research pertaining to our marine environment. The episode to be screened features stories covering topics including shellfish restoration in Southampton Town waters, Sagg Pond ground water remediation efforts in partnership with Peconic Land Trust, the status of the kelp aquaculture industry on Long Island, back to the Bay Initiative updates, and more.
Guests will be invited to mingle with CCE staff and collaborators featured in the show prior to the screening, while enjoying complimentary small bites and wine.
