Award-winning animal advocate, journalist, and best-selling author Jill Rappaport will create and host a life-saving animal adoption event involving the Southampton Animal Shelter Foundation on Tuesday, November 8, from 4 to 6 PM.
The Big Apple Circus has partnered Rappaport’s “Rappaport To The Rescue” organization. The public is invited to come down to the Big Top at Damrosch Park in Lincoln Center in New York City for the adoption event.
Admission is free of charge and guests will be treated to complimentary refreshments. In addition to potentially adopting a pet, guests will enjoy an exclusive performance before the grand opening performance on November 11.
There will be other shelters and foster-based organizations participating from across the tri-state to facilitate adoption applications.
