The Montauk Chamber of Commerce’s 42nd Annual Fall Fest will be held on Saturday and Sunday, October 7 and 8, and is a weekend full of fun and food for the whole family.
As usual, on Saturday the annual Clam Chowder Contest kicks off at 11 AM. This event is a fan favorite. Local restaurants donate clam chowder, red or white, and a panel of esteemed local judges taste and vote on the winners. The public is encouraged to try the chowder too — they can purchase a commemorative mug that entitles them to one cup of chowder. The mugs cost $15.
On the Green, also beginning at 11 AM Saturday, there will be two bouncy slides, one bouncy house, and a mechanical shark. The mechanical shark will be fun for kids of all ages. There will also be a food tent with hamburgers, hot dogs, fries, sausage and peppers, brats, and more.
Additionally, there will be a beer truck with beer, wine, seltzers, soft drinks, water. Pumpkins will be for sale, as well as other Montauk merch. Another component is a chance and silent auction, complete with sports memorabilia. On Sunday afternoon there will be the drawing for the cash catch raffle.
There will be live music on Saturday and Sunday from 2 to 5 PM. Saturday is The Realm and Sunday is Little Head Thinks.

Farmers Market vendors include Sand and Soil Farms, Turmeric Boss, Arlotta Food Studios, Kalypso Greek Kitchen, Fresh Factor Juice, Vienna Cookie, Chowderhead Soup, Montauk Brewing Company, Mecox Bay Dairy, Superfood City, Terranut (Nut Punch), Beaches and Beans Coffee, Bambino Ravioli, Chef Giovanni, Greenport Jerky, The Biscotti Company, Springs FIreplace Hot Sauce, Ocean to Earth Farm, Modern Creations, Pindar Vineyards, Horman’s Pickles and Lemonade, The Baking Coach, Sylvester Manor Farm, Life is Grruff Dog Treats, Wildflower Meadery, Newlight Breadworks, Endless Summer, Amagansett Sea Salt, and Hampton Grocer.
There will also be Mr. Softee, Knot of this World Hot Pretzels, and Montaukila (sampling only).
