20 Ways To Celebrate Halloween On The East End

We’ve got pet parades, haunted houses, Halloween parties, and more. Here are 20 ways to celebrate over Halloween weekend.

The Clubhouse

The Clubhouse in East Hampton presents a Halloween party on Friday, October 29, starting at 9 PM. There will be sounds by The Realm, DJ sets by James Ryan and Bryan Griffin, and a performance by Samantha Slithers and her pet python. Enjoy spooky cocktails, and a costume contest. The cover is $10.

Gurney’s Montauk

To celebrate this year’s spooky season, Gurney’s Montauk is throwing a Halloween Hideaway for children and adults alike. Adults can participate in elevated holiday fun, such as tarot card or palm readings alongside cocktails at the Scarpetta Bar, while families can enjoy candle making in the resort’s Great Hall. Kids will also delight in a special on-property scavenger hunt and trick-or-treating, along with other holiday themed activities available across the resort.

Riverhead Crawloween

Downtown Riverhead presents Crawloween a craft spirits crawl on Friday, October 29, from 6 to 9 PM, featuring Montauk Distilling Co, North Fork Brewing Co, Peconic County Brewing, and Tradewinds Brewing. At 9 PM there will be after parties with live music at Diggers, a DJ at Riverwalk Bar & Grill, and food and drink specials at Craft’d. General admission is $14.99 and gets you $5 craft beer at breweries and signature cocktails and Montauk Distilling. There’s also a digital scavenger hunt and prizes.

Calissa

It’s a Halloween Party, Calissa style. Join for dinner in a costume and receive a complimentary glass of bubbles. A DJ will spin starting at 9:30 and spooky seasonal drinks will be available.

Greenport Harbor Brewery

Greenport Harbor Brewery in Peconic will hold a Halloween Costume Party on Saturday, October 30, from 7 to 11 PM. Food will be available from 7 to 9 PM and there will be music by DJ Biggie. There will be contests for the best single, duo, and group costumes. Winners receive $100 gift cards. On Sunday, October 31, at 2 PM the brewery will presents Howl-O-Ween dog costume parade. Registration begins at 1 PM.

Haunted Village

Southampton History Museum presents Haunted Village on Saturday, October 30, from 2 to 3:30 PM. The grounds of the historic Rogers Mansion will display a haunted Southampton Village inhabited with ghosts, goblins and ghouls, with the outbuildings open and “occupied with the unimaginable.”

Stephen Talkhouse

The Stephen Talkhouse in Amagansett will have a Halloween party with Hello Brooklyn performing on Saturday, October 30, starting at 10 PM. The cost is $30.

Darkside Haunted House

The Darkside Haunted House in Calverton has been scaring Long Islanders since 1998. Visitors will tour 14,000 “scare” feet and see over 30 detailed scenes of fright. Check the website for times and tickets.

Southampton Publick House

Southampton Publick House will host its annual Halloween party on Saturday, October 30, starting at 10 PM, featuring DJ Jetset and DJ Tony Kerr. The cover is $10.

Peconic County Brewing

Peconic County Brewing in Riverhead will present a Halloween Costume Party on Friday, October 29, from 6 to 11 PM. Enjoy a photo booth, DJ Music, food specials, and a costume contest.

Little Lucy’s

Little Lucy’s 20th annual Halloween Pet Parade will be held on Saturday, October 30, in Southampton Village. Registration begins at 1 PM in Agawam Park. The parade goes down Jobs Lane to Main Street and back to Agawam where you’ll find costume awards, food vendors, live music, and much more. The cost is $10 per dog and proceeds go directly to Kent Animal Shelter.

North Fork Brewing Company

North Fork Brewing Company presents the Nightmare on 2nd St costume party on Sunday, October 31, from 1 to 6 PM.

Claudio’s

Claudio’s Waterfront will host a Halloween Costume Party on Saturday, October 30, starting at 9 PM. Entry is free with a costume.

Solé East

Solé East in Montauk invites guests to celebrate Halloween in The Backyard to close out its 2021 season on Saturday, October 30, starting at 8 PM. The evening will feature free bar food, drink specials, and a live DJ. There will be a costume contest and the best will win a weekend stay. Admission is free.

Suffolk Theater

Suffolk Theater in Riverhead presents a free screening of “Rocky Horror Picture Show” on Saturday, October 30, at 8 PM. On Sunday, October 31, Blue Oyster Cult performs.

Station Bar

Station Bar in Hampton Bays will kick off Halloween Weekend with a Halloween Party on Friday, October 29, starting at 9 PM. There will be a costume contest announced at midnight and drink and shot specials all night long.

Long Ireland

Long Ireland Beer Company’s seventh annual Halloween Costume party will be held in Riverhead on Saturday, October 30, from 6 to 11 PM. Admission is $25 and includes two beer tickets. Costumes are required and prizes will be awarded. There will be food by The Big Black Food Truck.

Spooky Night Maze

Harbes Orchard’s Spooky Night Maze will continue on Saturday, October 30, from 7 to 9:30 PM. Run into creepy characters as you find your way through the maze. Admission is $19.

Sag Harbor Cinema

Sag Harbor Cinema presents screenings of Henry Selick’s “The Nightmare Before Christmas” on October 30 and 31.

Hallow-Pup Custume Parade

Lenz Winery in Peconic presents Hallow-Pup Custume Parade on Saturday, October 30, from 1 to 3 PM. The cost is $20 per pup and includes a glass of wine for the handler. Prizes and treats will be awarded.
