A sprawling 148-acre estate on the North Fork has entered the market with an astonishing price tag of $35.5 million, making it the most expensive listing in the area’s history. Known as Indian Neck Farm, the property is represented by Sheri Winter Parker of the Corcoran Group and is located at 4170 and 3375 Indian Neck Lane, nestled along a deep-water creek that flows into Little Peconic Bay.

This isn’t the farm’s first time breaking records; in 2008, Parker sold the estate for $19.5 million, marking a previous high point for the North Fork market.

While still functioning as a working farm, Indian Neck Farm has transformed into an expansive retreat that blends luxury with its agricultural roots. The property features a meticulously renovated main house, an array of outbuildings designed for entertaining, and a state-of-the-art fitness and wellness barn. The grounds serve as a sanctuary for wildlife, including quail, pheasants, songbirds, owls, and red-tailed hawks.

The property’s five parcels retain their full development rights, which is rare. According to Parker, the estate’s significance stems from its origins in the 1970s. “The original owners strategically acquired surrounding parcels to create this unparalleled assemblage,” she explained.

Approximately 60 acres of the estate are dedicated to certified organic farming. Although the farm’s business, Indian Neck Organics, is currently inactive, the infrastructure remains ready for revitalization, featuring solar technology and advanced vegetable washing and packing facilities. “Everything is in place for a seamless restart,” Parker noted, adding that the fruit and vegetable perennials are ready for the next chapter.

An additional 20 acres serve as pastureland for livestock, including horses. The property also boasts a one-acre chef’s garden, which is certified organic, along with an apothecary and greenhouse, making it ideal for home cultivation.

The main house, originally built in 1981, has recently been renovated. This shingle-style residence balances classic elegance with modern comfort. It features multiple gathering spaces, cozy fireplaces, and an expansive gourmet kitchen with industrial-grade appliances and dual islands. The home includes 11 bedrooms, 10 full bathrooms, and six half-baths, easily accommodating guests.

Beyond its agricultural appeal, the estate offers various recreational facilities. A private golf setup features a short-game course, a practice putting green, and a simulator barn. Tennis courts and facilities for hunting and fishing enhance the property’s charm. Water enthusiasts will appreciate the 60-foot floating dock in a secluded cove with year-round shellfish harvesting rights.

The wellness barn elevates the property further, offering amenities such as a Pilates studio, an indoor cycling setup with a video wall, and strength training equipment. Specialized features include a hyperbaric chamber, a cryotherapy unit, an infrared sauna, and a ColdTub, catering to even the most discerning fitness enthusiasts.

With its development rights intact, Indian Neck Farm has the potential for subdivision. Parker has confirmed early interest from prospective buyers drawn by its agricultural capabilities and appeal as a luxurious private retreat.
