ARF’s annual Stroll to the Sea Dog Walk will take place on Sunday, October 6, presented by The One Nine Three Group. Bring your furry friends and enjoy a scenic two-mile walk to the ocean and back, starting at Mulford Farm, 10 James Lane in East Hampton.
Established in 1974, ARF Hamptons actively rescues dogs and cats, provides quality care, and offers sanctuary until loving homes can be found. Over the last 50 years, ARF Hamptons has saved more than 30,000 animals.
“With Fall in the air, the smell of fresh donuts, and the pure joy of dogs frolicking on the beach, this really is a special day for our community. But it’s so much more than a day of fun with family, friends, and pets. It’s a chance for everyone to pull together and raise funds to save animals with nowhere else to turn,” said Kim Nichols, Executive Director of ARF Hamptons. “It takes a village to provide the level of care our animals receive,
and every contribution has a significant impact. You can make a difference!”
All registrants receive a free event t-shirt with original artwork by designer Isaac Mizrahi, a tote bag, and refreshments, including Dreesen’s Famous Donuts, Goldberg’s Bagels, apples and cider from The Milk Pail, Starbucks coffee, dog treats, and water. Plus, the ARF Mobile Adoption van will be on site. Anyone who collects $250 or more in pledges will also receive a special gift courtesy of Mizrahi. Enjoy live music with Sandy Rapp.
Gates open at 9 AM, and the walk starts at 10 AM. You can also walk anywhere and participate virtually. Registration begins at $40 at https://give.arfhamptons.org/dogwalk.
