East Hampton Historical Society Held 9th Annual Summer Design Luncheon Benefit Featuring Acclaimed Interior Designer Marshall Watson

East Hampton Historical Society hosted its 9th Annual Summer Design Luncheon on Thursday, August 7, at the Maidstone Club in East Hampton. This year’s Summer Design Luncheon featured guest speaker Marshall Watson, an acclaimed interior designer, who discussed his new book, “Designing Elegance.”

Presenting engaging projects, Marshall revealed how his design principles adapt to geographies and climates. Whether in a light and airy seaside home in East Hampton or a modern renovation of a barn in Napa Valley, Marshall detailed how he translates each owner’s lifestyle, the house’s history, and the setting into a highly original form of elegance. The luncheon was made possible in part by the support of Doyle Auctioneers and Appraisers.
