Bar maven Kenta Goto and his renowned NYC bar, Bar Goto Niban, will host a pop up at Rita Cantina in Springs to bring Japanese-inspired tastes to the location. The two-day event will celebrate Bar Goto’s beverages and plates in Rita’s Oaxacan-inspired space and on the sandy outdoor patio.
Guests are invited to enjoy some of Bar Goto’s most celebrated cocktails like the Japanese-inspired margarita, which will fuse both Bar Goto’s and Rita’s tastes, incorporating shochu, tequila, chili liqueur, and simple syrup alongside a sea salt and Togarashi powder rim, as well as the Far East Side and Ume Paloma cocktails. Dishes include miso chicken wings, and Kombu celery, as well as Rita’s coastal Mexican dishes from executive chef Eric Miller.
The pop up will take place on Saturday, August 13 and Sunday, August 14 from open to close. Reservations are recommended.
