Claudio’s Tavern and Grill kicked off Maritime weekend with a Prohibition Party on Friday, October 20. Held in honor of the 90th year of the repeal of prohibition at one of America’s oldest speakeasies over 75 partygoers, donning their best prohibition era attire, enjoyed live music from the Hoo Doo Loungers and cocktail tastings courtesy of Jefferson Whiskey.
As well, Prohibition inspired cocktails were flowing including the 1933, Hidden Trap, Little Italy and Mitchell’s Carousel all inspired by prohibition era elements of Claudio’s.
Partygoers kicked off the evening with a historic guided tour of the speakeasy and then moved into dancing their way into midnight until the last tune was played.
