Cristina Fontanelli, international opera, Broadway and Italian classics singer, will be starring in the Opera & Broadway of the Hamptons production at the Basilica of the Sacred Hearts of Jesus and Mary in Southampton on Sunday, September 5, at 5 PM.
Fontanelli has appeared on stage, and on radio and TV, hosting a PBS special for Andrea Bocelli and Michael Buble. She has shared stages with Tony Bennett, and she is a regular at Michael Feinstein’s 54 Below.
She has performed at the Hong Kong and Cairo Operas, at Carnegie Hall, the Kennedy Centers, the Bostons Pops, St. Louis Symphony, Guild Hall in East Hampton, and other venues around the world. She is well-known for her regular appearances at the San Gennaro Festivals in New York City, singing her Italian classic songs. Her “Christmas in Italy” specials have been performed at Carnegie Hall. She also sang the opening ceremony at the Hampton Classic Horse Show.
