In the aftermath of the October 7 attacks by Hamas which targeted civilians in Israel, Douglas Elliman has taken action to address the unfolding humanitarian crisis.
In a collaborative effort with the Israeli-American Council, the largest Israeli-American organization in the United States, Douglas Elliman has instituted a fundraising campaign designed to amplify the impact of charitable contributions. Under this initiative, Elliman will match every dollar donated, with a total matching limit of $50,000. Every donation will be earmarked for the direct support of Israel, with no allocation towards administrative overhead.
Contributors to this campaign have the option to designate their donations to one of four critical areas including humanitarian and first responder support, soldiers’ needs, the well-being of hospitals and healthcare facilities, and/or enhancing the advocacy and awareness efforts in the media.
“This campaign embodies our commitment to provide essential assistance and relief to those affected by these tragic events,” said a statement from the company.
